Continuous and batch biodiesel plants from 2 MT/h, processing virgin oils, used cooking oil, animal fats and high-FFA waste streams to EN 14214 and ASTM D6751. Designed, engineered and delivered by IncBio since 2006.
Our continuous esterification process handles any FFA blend, from low to 100% FFA, in a single process step — no separate transesterification stage, and no change of process concept when the feedstock mix changes. Reaction is intensified in IncBio's proprietary ultrasonic reactors.
The plant is fully containerised: every skid fits a standard shipping container. Smallest configuration 2 MT/h (approximately 16,000 t/yr); no upper limit.
Conventional alkaline transesterification for virgin and low-FFA oils, in continuous or batch configuration. Batch plants work particularly well on used cooking oil.
Ultrasonic reactors can be fitted to a new plant or retrofitted into an existing one to cut reaction time and methanol excess.
Our continuous plants start at 2 MT/h. We can supply smaller units, but below that scale a plant lacks the process units needed to guarantee EN 14214 on every feedstock, and the capital cost per tonne rarely makes sense. If your project is smaller, tell us — we will say plainly whether it works.
By adding what they lack: ultrasonic reactors, esterification front-ends for high-FFA feedstocks, methanol recovery columns, resin purification or distillation.
Methanol distillation column upgrade, commissioned 2024 ahead of schedule.
Methanol rectification column, 2022.
120,000 t/yr ultrasonic reactor retrofit, 2014.
Plant upgrade engineering, profitability improvement of an existing plant.
We will come back with the process route we would recommend.
